10 Week course

Welcome to the 10-week fine Art introductory course.

This is a 10-week introductory course in fine Art for Children above the age of 7. The course is delivered live in small class sizes, unlike our online course. We will introduce everything there is to know about Art from the absolute start, teaching skills, confidence and the ability to discern.

This page will outline the schedule and learning outcomes, along with the equipment we will provide and the equipment we recommend that you have for the children. We recommend in all of the lessons students should not wear good clothes (just in case).

The introduction to fine art class prepares the building blocks for further Art studies. Introducing students to rule of thumb concepts, critiquing, building draftsmanship skills, exploring mediums and styles, and Art planning.

Who is the course for?

We have found that those who benefit most from our courses are children who have a desire to develop and enrich their Artistic abilities. We have children who are autistic that flourish in our Art classes as long as they have an innate joy of Art.
