Introduction to Fine Art

This is a 10 week course for children that introduces students to Fine Art. Shading, Painting, using different mediums. A fantastic way to build foundations.

Atelier Classes

Our Children’s Atelier classes are a sequel to the introduction. We build on the foundations block by block, using oil paints, gold leafing, spray paints and many many more mediums.

Adult classes are great for developing, and building your own aesthetic. The adult classes are for beginners and experts. A Very relaxed and calming vibe.

We aim to build life long confidence and instil positive building blocks within our students. Enriching our students with understanding high culture, with the ability to analyse, scrutinise and comment.

Guidance

We provide guidance in the form of unique and tailored feedback that will help our students grow their skill sets and capabilities. We encourage sending work in to be assessed and commented on as was the method for centuries.

Growth

Our programme is designed as a long road to growth. The true fruits of our lessons will be seen after many many months. We encourage parents to have a 30,000 ft view and allow ample time for growth.

We use some of the best products on the market in our classroom. Allowing students to use the best quality we can get hold of produces quality work that is ‘gallery worthy’. We teach health and safety, and best practices for the products we use.

Plein Air (Outdoor) painting

Even though we have a dedicated studio workshop, when the weather is great we even paint outdoors. Sometimes outside the workshop and sometimes in different locations of beauty.

We push our students to embrace the challenges of those of the old Venetian and Dutch schools. We study periods of Art in a practical format, understanding the time and skill required for the respective movements.
